Job Summary:

The Swim Lessons Coordinator is responsible for organizing, planning, and executing swim lessons for individuals of all ages and skill levels. This position requires effective communication, strong organizational skills, and the ability to ensure a safe and positive environment for all participants. The coordinator will work closely with instructors, parents, and participants to meet their needs and provide exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

 

Program Management:

Plan, schedule, and coordinate swim lesson programs for various age groups and skill levels.

Develop and maintain lesson curricula that align with industry standards and safety protocols.

Ensure the availability of proper equipment and facilities for swim lessons.

Monitor class sizes to ensure safe instructor-to-student ratios.

 

Instructor Support:

Hire, train, and manage swim instructors, ensuring they provide high-quality instruction.

Conduct regular meetings with instructors to discuss feedback, challenges, and any updates to the lesson plans.

Monitor instructor performance and provide ongoing support and development opportunities.

 

Customer Service:

Communicate with participants and parents regarding lesson schedules, cancellations, and progress.

Address participant inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.

Ensure that all participants are receiving appropriate instruction and achieving their swimming goals.

 

Scheduling & Registration:

Oversee the registration process for swim lessons, including managing waitlists and adjusting schedules as needed.

Ensure accurate record-keeping of participant registration details and payments.

Coordinate with the administrative team to maintain updated participant rosters.

 

Safety & Compliance:

Ensure that all swim lessons are conducted in a safe environment, adhering to all safety guidelines and regulations.

Conduct regular safety checks of pool facilities, equipment, and emergency procedures.

Monitor and enforce pool rules and regulations to ensure the safety of all participants.
